Headaches

Hey Everyone!

I just had AVR on Feb. 18 and everything is going great! My only problem is headaches. I know blood pressure meds can cause that, but just wanted to see if anyone has noticed the same thing.

Hi, shortly after surgery, I felt my heart beating more strongly and sometimes I did have a headache. I would suggest you let your surgeon know. You also may want to speak with your GP and Cardiologist. Surgeons are really focused on the surgery. My own surgeon did a fine job for me but he was pretty uninterested in the "after effects" once surgery was past. I got a much better response from my GP who worked with my Cardiologist to address my issues.
