Headache

I had my AVR August 1st of this year. My recovery has been great, but for the last 2 weeks I have frequent headaches on the lower right side of my head. I am wondering if this could be a reaction to the Coumadin? I am taking 6 mg/day, running an INR of 2.1. I would appreciate any thoughts.

You might want to repost this under the anticoagulant forum to catch more warfarin folks' thoughts. Also, if you will do a search (heading near the top of the page) and plug in headache, you can bring up some of the headache threads that have run in the past. This topic comes up fairly frequently on here. Katie does complain frequently of headaches, but I don't really have anything I can tell you from an adult perspective.
