I learned how to upload photos to an album! I think.

Selected excerpts from Maui are attached to my profile, if anyone wants to see them. I decided not to bore you with ALL of the 63 shots of Haleakala as dawn was breaking...just a few!
This was our first trip since my valve surgery 20 months ago, and it is amazing how much more "in control" I feel having accomplished this, controlling my INR and my food (except for the Hula pie), and getting through security, etc. etc.

I hope this works! Holler if it doesn't.

I think albums is one of those profile things that's not working right now. So I have to load them one at a time.

Banyan tree, downtown Lahaina.

The road to Hana. If you look closely above the road you might see palm trees started when a tsunami threw the coconuts up. And the white speck is a Pepsi truck.

180 degrees from Iao needle, the back side of Halemahina, the older volcano which formed the other part of the island. I could run at 10,000 feet at the crater, but the 133 steps up to the observation point just about wore me out!

Amazing pictures Laurie, thanks for posting them. I was going to say something really silly like gee the island looks like an episode of LOST, I think I must need more sleep.

Jeff.
