If so, it is suggested that you get a check-up for hepatitis C.

A couple of years ago a life insurance company denied my application for life insurane due to blood test results administered by their doctor.

A biopsy was aborted because 'I was bleeding too much' when a test on the severity/condition was intended.

According to statistics six million individuals (in the USA) HAVE hepatitis C and don't know it.

Changing the subject, a link to pictures of president Bush with 'satan.'

Don't FORGET to add the yukie '.htm' if you're using the Netscape browser.

God Bless

I received some blood after my first surgery in 1991.
Last year I got a letter saying I should get checked for Hep C because of the lack of screening for it back then.

I think they sent it out to everyone in Canada who had received blood during certain years.

Fortunately, I did not have it, but it sure is frightening to think that stuff like this happens.

My first one was in 1969. Boy today is such a gloomy day. Makes me sleepy.
Medtronic of borg.

While they now test for deadly viruses in the blood supply, there are still other viruses you can get from donated blood. Some of them can be troublesome.

The problem is if you need blood, you need blood, unfortunately.
