Has Anyone Here Had These Symptoms?

Hi Gang,
I was just wondering if anyone has had the symptoms that I have been having since yesterday....Starting yesterday morning, I had THE WORST headache that lasted all day, and when I tested my BP when I got home last night, I was 191/100...Yikes...so I got my Diovan and Coreg into me, but since then I have had sob, pain in the back between the shoulder blades and indigestion off and on, and I have my edema back in my legs again...Any Ideas? I am sorry that I haven't been on as much because, as it turns out, my friend Bruce had another heart attack 3 nights ago, and I have been running around taking him where he needs to be...PLUS...My landlord has moved drug dealers into the two empty apartments in my building, and basically when I talked to him about it, he said that he was not going to empty the building again in a really rude manner, and that he thought the people he moved in were "terrific..." 1. He doesn't live in this building, so he doesn't know what goes on, and 2. He basically told me that it's the $$ he was after and that if I didn't like it I could leave anytime...so I am scrambling to find another apartment again...Sorry for unloading like this, but it does explain why I haven't been on as much. It's been a BAAAADDDD 2 Weeks...Harrybaby666

I just wanted to let you know that I did go to the ER, and all they said was: "You have a headache" and sent me home...I asked them about all the other symptoms, and they gave no response at all...I guess I am going to have to wait until I have a heart attack or some other major event before someone will listen. I am supposed to have an appointment made with Maine Medical Center, but I haven't heard from them yet either..LOL

Sorry to hear you've had to put up with so much stress. That can cause the body to do strange things. Hope your friend Bruce gets better and you find a safer and quieter home soon. Of course, with the added stress of locating a place, getting moved, etc., you've got a lot on your plate.

Many prayers and good thoughts coming your way. Take a deep breath and "mellow". Sounds easy on this end HA.

Phew, I was getting concerned about you Harry. Glad to see your post. Sorry to hear that the ER dismissed you in such a way. It would be nice if they provided some additional knowledge on your health.

Thanks everyone for your concern...It has been one heck of a ride these past few weeks between my friend Bruce's heart attacks and trying to find a new place. I hope that the apartment that I am going to look at on tuesday will be bigger than the past two I have looked at. I am really hoping this search will be over as I am already wiped out. Anyway, I hope things get better soon and that I can get this move done and over with...Thanks again Harrybaby666

Harry, I am also glad that you went to the ER...better that they check you out and find that it is a bad headache than if you had something really bad going on and you didn't get it checked out.

Hope your apartment search works out.

Also very glad to hear that you are trying to get an appointment at a medical center....very good idea! ( I am making an assumption here, that the Maine Medical Center is a fairly big one?)

Yes, Maine Medical Center is a big hospital. It's in Portland, Maine, about 1 hour from where I live, and usually, my local (insert *cough choke gag here*) reliable (*again, choke cough gag) hospital sends heart patients there when they are in serious trouble, so I am hoping that they take me seriously there. I am just soooooo sick of dealing with all of this it's not even funny....but we must persist for the sake of good health...

As for the apartment search, I am really looking hard, but so far I have come up with nada, zilch, nothing, kicked to the curb, out in a cardboard box...LOL just kidding, but seriously, I am having a real hard time finding a place. but we will carry on...LOL

How is your Sleep Apnea Nan? Are you doing any better? I hope you have found a device that works ok for you..Take care, Harrybaby666
