They have had some serious flooding in her area, and I am worried about her. I sent her a private mail, but it hasn't been opened...............hoping and praying that everything is okay.

I assume you are referring to Catwoman.
She has posted a few times in the last couple of days.
I live in the opposite corner of the DFW metroplex.
Her area has definitely received a lot of rain.
Fortunatley, the sun is now shining....Hooray!

We're OK in Aledo. My mom saw news about evacuations in Aledo on TV, called me at work yesterday to make sure we were OK. Of course, this came up AFTER I had left home for work, so I had no way of finding out if everything was OK. I checked as best I could with our newsroom folks and on the internet. Water was standing in our back yard; several neighbors had ponds in their front yards.
Co-worker who lives south of Weatherford (west of us) couldn't get in for several hours Tuesday.
Talked w/ a friend in Orange County CA late yesterday -- all she had heard about was storms last week and Sunday night, nothing about day after day after day of rain...
