Hi Gang,
I went on a road trip yesterday to see my parents who live 4 hours away (220 miles to be exact...LOL) and I went out while up there and took a bunch of pictures that I thought I would share some of them with you...I have gotten hooked on sharing pictures...soooooo.....you guys just fell victim...LOL I hope you like.

This first one is on Rt. 95 North, and I took it as I wanted to show people just how pine tree laden the state really is:

Harry, I love the pictures. What a really neat place! I bet your Jeep Liberty made the trip great! Do you still like it? I really like mine. We had about five inches of snow last week and I put it in 4-wheel drive and couldn't even get it to slide. I tried, I really did ! !

Hi Glenda,
I ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY love my Jeep. It did a real nice job, and like you said before, the mileage is not terrific, but the vehicle does it's job well, which was what I was looking for in a vehicle. We had a bunch of snow last week too, and let me tell you, I really appreciate the 4x4! I am glad you liked the Maine pictures as I love it up there and I wish I could move there at some point....It really is a quiet place...that is until the fishing derby starts in about a week....Harrybaby666

Hi Harry

Looks like you had a good trip,

To cold for us to do that trip on the Harley LOL

Jan

Yeah, we had a great day, and I wouldn't suggest you going at this time of year on your harley...I would recommend going at the end of July or beginning of August though...lol Harrybaby666

You call a 4-hour drive a road trip?

*smirks*

That's nothing, my friend...nothin' ;)

*grins devilishly*

Of course...you know I'm kidding...or, at least you better....

Thanks for sharing the pictures...looks like you all had a wonderful trip with lots of good scenery and good times with friends/families (as all road trips should be ;)...but I'm not biased...lol).

But....no pictures of Monte Carlos? For shame ;).

*raises eyebrow*

Speaking of...anyone notice the 1974 (2nd gen) Monte Carlo in the Subway commercial in the 2nd quarter of tonight's Super Bowl?

Be truthful now.....

Car sitting at night with fogged windows, cop car pulls up behind parked car, officer steps out and approaches stopped car, window rolls down, revealing a guy eating a Subway sub....in a 1974 Chevrolet Monte Carlo!!!!

*grins*

You know, it's funny, but I haven't seen any Monte's around lately...I think that they must put them up for the winter or something, because I haven't seen any unless they are the brand new ones, and even then, I have only seen 1 or 2 in the last month or two...I know...Pathetic Isn't It? LOL

Have no fear though, I have been keeping my eyes peeled for them...LOL

Now...as for the 4 hour road trip...I had my brother go with me, because I am becoming much more limited as far as driving goes...4 hours really wipes me out, so my brother and I have split the driving up...He does 2 hours up, then we switch, then on the way back, I drive 2 hours and then we switch again...Believe me, I would love to go further, but I just get so darn exhausted, and then the chest pain and pressure starts to set in...
We did have a good time though, and as soon as I got up there and rested for awhile, then I went out to the lake and took the pics...It was worth it...

BTW, how have you been feeling lately? any better? I haven't been on much these past two weeks as a friend of mine had a massive heart attack, and I have been helping him as much as I am able to...Harrybaby666

:D :D :D

Thanks for asking 'bout me....I'd rather not say at this time...nothing personal...I just haven't updated anyone lately, and well, don't really want to either, although I have some trips and stuff to post here shortly...maybe I'll give an update in the midst of that. Alrighty? Reader's Digest version: I'm OK, but sick (literally) of my job...and have a few health issues....

As for your road trip...I completely understand. Sometimes, the shorter road trips are the best...sometimes ;). I'm just glad you were able to take a road trip...always good to get out of the house and get some "fresh air"...whether it is just stepping outside the door, driving 4 hours, or going clear across the country ;). He he he...

As for the Monte Carlos...well, you probably won't see 'em until spring. The real ones, anyway ;). Then again, my '87 MC LS is out all year long...so, you just might see some...ya never know :). Heh...and pathetic isn't the word I'd use....

Well I don't blame you for not wanting to post about how your feeling. I just hope that your ok is all...as for the road trips, I obviously love to travel, but boy is it ever getting hard when you feel the way I do...

As for the Monte's, I agree, pathetic wasn't the word I would have used either, but let's face it...we have to be polite sometime in our lives right? LOL

*chuckles*

Who me...polite? Riiiiggghhhttt.....lol.

Eh, I'm OK. Just going through some rough times health-wise and work-wise....getting on my nerves...heh.

And, traveling is a great stress reliever. Alas, I haven't been able to do much as of late...but hopefully, that'll change soon (more about this in a new post sometime later this week, early next week...).

Well, If it's any consolation, I am really frustrated with my health issues as well...For instance, today and tonight I have had the WORST headache...annoying all the way...I really get sick of the small stuff....You have my complete sympathy and thoughts and prayers and of course, Comedy...LOL Harrybaby666

Seee....and _this_ is why I don't want to say too much about what is happening....because I _know_ others are having more difficulties than I am...and my difficulties pale in comparison and are rather insignificant in relation to issues that others are facing currently....

*shrugs*

And Carolyn...is what still a problem? Road trips are not a problem at all ;). My migraine "visions" are still a problem, yes....nothing new to report as of yet....

Don't ever think that you cant vent to me if you feel you want to, as I care about what happens to "the gang" and if I can help in anyway, I would love to...I just wanted to let you know that just because I have my health issues, I still would like to help if there is any way I can, and I figure we might even get some new angles that might get us somewhere. Please know that if you are struggling, you can always vent to me, no matter what...Take Care, Harrybaby666
:D :D :D :D

Harry,

I appreciate your words...perhaps more than you know.

*shrugs*

Guess sometimes...I'm just tired of feeling the need to vent...if that makes any sense. So...it's onward and upward ;).
