I would like to thank the men and women of our armed services, past and present for their sacrifice and dedication to this great country. To those who have lost sons, daughters, husbands and wives we owe you a debt that can never be repaid.

May God guard and protect those serving our country during these troubled times.

we had a thank you service in church yesterday. One of our WWII members had passed away recently, his brother paid tribute to him and others, then afterward we socialized over lunch in our church dining room.

We so appreciate those who serve our country. And we thank God for them and pray for the safety of those who are in danger.

In Australia 11th November is known as Remembrance Day.

I didn't know the ode of Remembrance "Lest we forget"
is used in the US.

It is used in Australia at all veterans? memorial services.


The other big veteran?s day in Australia is 25th April, ANZAC Day,
it is a public holiday and tends to attract much larger crowds to the
memorial services.
