Thanks for posting those clips, Greg...they bring back memories of when I was a teenager and went to the Oktoberfest
celebrations in Kitchener. Good times.
Today I am actually tired from the weekend so I kissed my goats and then watched the parade on TV.

On Saturday a local horse driving club toured our street with about 10 buggies and wagons. I never get tired of
watching them, all clean and shiny, stepping out smartly in the sunshine.
And it was a totally spectacular weekend weather wise. Broke a record for high temperature. YAY.
No jackets !! Sun hats and sunglasses :) Blazing sun !!

Sounds like you guys had a great Thanksgiving weekend out there. We went out to the lakes camping for the weekend with friends and family. Awesome times, we did a full turkey and ham dinner with all th fixens sans power or running water, (unless you count the rain) and boy did it rain! They don't call it the wetcoast for nothing. We just got home a couple of hours ago, now the drying of rain gear begins.

Full turkey dinner here too. Besides doing two loads of wash, finished tiling the bathroom, clean out the shed, got the snow blower ready to go, cleaned out and covered the a/c and had supper ready by 5:40 with all the fixings....and nothing burnt lol with apple pie for dessert.... which I made yesterday.

Happy Thanksgiving. I was going to ask if you have a traditional feast for thanksgiving and what it is like we do, but by the time I finished reading the thread, it sounds like Turkey and ham.

Bina your day sounds perfect too, I agree with seeeing the parade horses and buggies and wagons is always a treat.

Move over Superbob. SuperwomanFred is here to give you a run for your $$$$:biggrin2:

It sounds like Canadian forum members celebrated appropriately, but I have one question.

Why didn't you invite your southern neighbors to the feast?????:wink2:

Oh well, maybe NEXT year. In the meantime, happy Thanksgiving!:smile2:

Didn't think my southern neighbors needed an invite, my door is always open to my neighbors to the south.
Sorry.
