I'm so sorry, during the week with all the goings on around here I completely forgot about it until I looked at the calendar this morning (September 23rd). Can you forgive me? :(

Congratulations on your anniversary. Do you have any feelings or thoughts that you'd like to share about it?

Oh yeah, the Virginian:D

Congratulations on this milestone, hope all is well with you.

KEEP SMILIN RAM

Thanks Everyone!
Everything is going very well. I have been so busy with my kids, work, church etc....that I almost forgot about my anniversary. It scares me a little to think that things are going so well. You have a tendency to think that something is going to hit and blow the happiness all to pieces. That's what happened last year at this time. My INR has also been very stable. I've been very blessed. I'm thinking the INR stability may be a little short lived because the flu vaccine is coming up. That through me out of whack last year. My cardio also suggested that I get the pneumonia vaccine this year. Anyone out there get that one? They told me that you only get that one once every ten years instead of once a year, like the flu vaccine.
Thanks again for remembering my anniversary. This site and everyone here has been a blessing for me. I don't know what I would have done without you all.

Take Care & God Bless!
Gail

I got the flu and booster pneumonia shot last year. It had been well over 10 years since my last pneumonia shot. The Doctor said I probably didn't really need it, but wanted me to get it anyway as he said, "It can't hurt you any and I don't want to take any chances with you."

Terrific News!!

Hi Gail!

Congratulations! Wishing you many many more 'happy days'!!!
Don't worry about the flu shot. It caused a slight spike in my INR once. Did not adjust and was back down to normal in three days.

Found the same to be true with dental premeditation. No major change to speak of. Would run to get my INR every time I pre-medicated. Which was often the year preceeding surgery. Guess after 30 years with minimal work on your teeth....your bound to strat having some issues.

Looks like it's going to be a nasty flu season. So get that shot and rest assured...you will be back to normal in notime.

Don't sweat the small stuff;) Took me three years to let loose and relax:eek:

Take care

Belated happy anniversary, I'm glad everything is going so normal, mine is next month. You help me a lot along with many others here, since I was 1 month behind you I was always interested in how you were doing!

I got the pneumo-vac last year, before surgery, it was my second, the only reaction was the soreness in my arm, a bit red and swollen I had to take some benadryl, use your non-dominate arm.

Best of health and many more years
