Hello all,
I'm back to the land of the living again. It is wonderful to be here. Surgery was scheduled for 6:30 on the 21st finally happened around 3:30 in the afternoon. Everything went pretty well. I did have trouble with my heart rate wanting to be really fast (148 bpm). For two days the dr's tried meds, eventually taking me downstairs and shocking my heart. Did the trick, I've been slowly getting better and better. I did have alot of swelling this time. Anyone know what that may be about?
I returned home yesterday, so I missed my Christmas goal, but I'm so proud to be home it really doesn't even matter at this point.
I did recieve 2 On-X(?) valves. My surgeon is giving me all the paperwork on them next week. I have heard that these are very good valves.
SO anyway, I'm home, THANK YOU for your knid words, thoughts and most of all your PRAYERS.

HAPPY NEW YEAR,
Bejaxx
What a wonderful way to start a new year:cool:

So glad you are home and wishing you the very happiest and healthiest of New Years!:D

Welcome back, Bejaxx! Sounds like you had the works! I hope your recovery is swift, uneventful and downright boring!:D

Happy New Year

Great to hear that you are back! Sorry you did not make your goal of Christmas, but in the long run it will be an insignificant setback. Take it easy and listen to your body. From everything I have heard on these boards the On-X is an excellent valve, so you should be very happy with that outcome.

Best,

Brad

So glad you are back and posting! WELCOME HOME!

And, of course, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
