To ALL our great Dad's on VR.Com... Valvers. Valver's Hubby's, fathers, ect.......We celebrated at pool today for my Hubby..Son is in Fla....for his Father's Day .. I have a great memory.. and know..that most active male valvers on VR.Com ARE Father's........for they have always talked about their children...Grandchildren..PROUD bunch... and they should be. Just something special about these Guys... ..Hope all of you have that special Day tomorrow. Bonnie

Hope all you dads have a great day. I would also like to say Happy Father's day to my dad. Even tho he is no longer with us, it is still a day to honor all fathers here or gone.

I'm planning on having a great day tomorrow. My Kids are having a barbecue and I don't have to cook! Not many barbecues where I'm not the head Chef.
Just glad to be here for another Fathers day and looking forward to many more to come.

Hubby is golfing. We relaxed by the pool yesterday. 90+ day here Nice meal planned for later. Whole crab. Yum........

Hubby is sleeping and will enjoy waking up late!! 2 of the 3 kids are home and will take him out for a late brunch and then, I think they bought him a Bocce Ball set??? I'll go pick up my dad and join them on a field somewhere in town. Then we'll have a barbecue. Supposed to be a perfect 75 today, that is if the clouds burn off.......they ususally do by late afternoon on spring days like this.

Our daughter sought to be creative this year, and I think she's done it!

Since he loves to grill, she's bought salmon fillets and filet mignon, prepared vegetables ready for the rack, and homemade french bread to pop in at the end. She also sent a bottle of wine and a six pack of his favorite dark beer.

Of course the only thing that interests me is the french bread, so I'm baking a German chocolate cake to have with ice cream, so I don't starve!
You know what they say, Life is short so have dessert first!
