I've been here how long and always forget that Janie and Ann have the same day for a birthday. Hard to keep track of you folks.

I remember this day 60 years ago very well. In about 4 or 5 hours it will be the time of day when you came to take up residence in this world at Santa Rosa Hospital. And, about 3 or so hours after that was when your father flagged down Papa and me as we were going home on Hwy. 281 (near Stinson Field) to tell us about your arrival. It is difficult to realize that time has flown so quickly since that day.
I hope you have a wonderful day. I feel sure you will have a good celebration also.
May God give you many special blessings.

Oooh, Janie - it's one of those with all the awful black cards, balloons and lawn decorations. Oh, yeah - and wheelchairs and lap warmers and prune juice. Tee hee.

And on this auspicious day Chevy Man and Joey are getting their hearts fixed. They chose well.

My birthday was just the greatest. I associated with the very old and the very young. Went to assisted living to have lunch with brother and all the residents sung happy birthday and we were served banana pudding topped with "Happy Birthday" and a candle to blow out. Some of those folks were in their 90s. Last night granddaughter brought her 4, along with cake/ice cream. The youngest of that bunch is less than 1 y.o. So I got to see a whole spectrum. So great. Life is good!
