Oh, you guys................
are so sweet. I miss y'all so much. You bring tears to my eyes..............course a lot does these days................sigh! In case you have been wondering why I have been MIA, we have been remodeling a house we bought, a true fixer upper - we gutted it and knocked out a couple of walls, since last June and it's not finished yet. We spend every weekend painting and picking out fixtures, knobs, etc.........no floors yet..........or toilets for that matter, which makes working over there a tad bit difficult for the ladies, although Katie has now learned howto squat out back in true emergencies.............heehee! Yes, there is a privacy fence..................and once again, Katie will shoot me one day for revealing her potty practices. When we go over to paint, she spends most of her time painting pictures on the wall.................and then gets upset when we eventuallly paint over her "masterpieces." As for my painting ability, Katie has told me not to quit my day job! Heehee! Everyone is sick of the whole thing and I would never, ever do it again..............sigh! 'Course hindsight is always 20-20!
Anyway, if we ever get finished and moved, I hope to be able to spend more time on here. I have withdrawal from you guys. If Don will get my Kodak software loaded back on my PC (strange how that just keeps disappearing...........grr!), I will post a new pic of the little lionness. I still can't believe she is in first grade. For a long time I couldn't even envision it.............now we are living it. A true blessing that I don't take lightly. Healthwise, she is doing really well despite the occasional bumps and falls that give me the willies, but turn out to be perfectly fine.
