Marguerite,

Don't worry about being another year older!

Do you hear anybody kidding you about your age? OF COURSE NOT!

Have you heard any snide, insulting jokes about "getting on in years" or being "over the hill"? CERTAINLY NOT!!!!!

But then, the hearing is usually the FIRST thing to go!:D :D

Happy Birthday and,

May God Bless,

Danny

You guys are awesome. Thanks so much! Just finishing up watching the Martin Scorcese documentary on Bob Dylan (we got it for my husband) with my husband. Started the day with a late brunch with the 5 of us. Grabbed some Starbucks on the way home, scrunced all 5 of us on the downstairs couch and watched March of the Penguins. Then let the kids go their own way and met my mom and stepdad for Chinese food.

I got some lovely lovely gifts, a gold locket from my husband (with all 3 kids gone, now I can keep them close by!), some amythest earrings from my daughter, a wonderful silk screen by my son from my son, and my oldest son loaded me up with memory games and puzzles (always the practical one!) He thinks my hearing is fine, Danny, it's my memory he's worried about!! At least he respects my intellect enough to want to keep it, I guess. ;)

I have to tell you. The other night was the best! Since it's our 25th wedding anniversary on January 3rd, and our middle son will be back at school, the 3 kids decided to congratulate us early. We were told to get out of our jeans (dress up abit), leave the house and open an envelope 30 minutes later. So, we did. Sat and watched the sunset for 30 minutes, opened the envelope and began a 2 hour scavenger hunt which took us back through 25 years of our lives together in this town. It was so much fun!! We ended up at our favorite restaurant, with our daughter waiting with a bouquet of flowers. We were so touched!!! It was so creative!! Just loved it.

So it's been a great week for me. Just fantastic. Having these notes from you guys makes it all the more special so thank you again so very much!!

:D Marguerite
