We are wishing you the best every day but today is a special one set aside for you. I am sure your day is going great and you are running through the clouds free of worldly limitations. You have all the answers that we seek and I am sure you are paving the way for the newbies up there. Bless you for being part of our lives.

Strange... I was thinking about Maia's family several days ago wondering how they were getting along. I hope they've found some peace. Maia, on the other hand, already has.

I have only been a member for a little over three months, and had not yet had to deal with the tragedy of losing a member. Teddy's and Maia's stories have come up over the past few days and I have spent considerable time going back and reading both Maia's posts prior to surgery and Teddy's mother's posts before and after as well. Unfortunately, it takes such awful events (at least for me) to jolt me into the realization of the seriousness of our conditions. Even though I never knew them, I find myself grieving deeply for their loss. Rest in peace.
