Christina, my name is French Canadian....I was named after my mother's sister who still lives in Canada where my mother was born and grew up. She only came to the states when she married my father and had to learn how to speak English. I have always loved my name because I thought it was different and I use the accent on the first e when I sign my name.

were first generation German immigrants. She pronounced her name "Geezala" - is that something like yours is pronounced? Guess you could say it is a European name instead of French or German.

I am thinking maybe you pronounce your name "Jazelle" - is that right?
