It was just a little friendly competition thing in one of the threads about a month ago. Ross and I were answering a request for info at the same time and my post made it in the thread first. Ross called me a brat for typing faster than him. I then asked him to create a brat avatar for me (see earlier post in this thread) which I used until I created the giraffe one. No biggie, just some fun.

Not very exciting, huh?

Well, now it's official. It has never snowed before on my birthday (where I was, of course ) until tonight.

I am still having fun tho and will continue to do so unless I get snowed in and then I'll be really po'd.

You can always make snow ice cream to go with your cake. ...We are nervous , too..because of all the flowers we have planted..and your weather is diving South, tonight. Pray, it will not freeze tonight.We will be out of $100.00 worth of annuals. Bonnie

How are your plants? It is strange here to see all the snow on the green leaves of the trees. I see a lot of plants in my yard that look like they will not survive.

Also, we had already used up the oil in our tank for heating as we thought the cold weather was over. Don't like to have it full during the warm weather so we are bundled up and shivering.

It's a little scary and "freaky".

Hubby is going out the door now to move all pots inside garage..Tonight..midnight-8 a.m. is suppose to be a hard freeze. The wind is blowing so don't know if we can cover the ones in the ground.Just blow the covers off. Bonnie
