Cort. So you are the big 30 today You have to change that thingy down where it says, 29 and single to now 30 and Looking We have a different car show every weekend where I live. Big tourist town in Ga. Last week-end it was the Model T's.. My brother bought one in 1955. Our transportation to school. It had the Rumble seat. Once, we pulled up and bought 22 cents worth of gas. Guy, asked us, do yall need a map? Everyone wanted to ride in Rumble seat...so this big fat girl gets in..and puts hand right thru the top. Boy, was my brother mad. I think he paid $50.00 for it.. First things first...thank you so much for all the birthday wishes....so much appreciated... .

Steve (and all)...I had a blast of a day.... Spent the day with my "girls" ... i.e. drove my older 4 Monte Carlos . Then, had a wonderful dinner with the family.... Tomorrow, traveling to Pittsburgh for the Cubs/Pirates game at PNC Park...should be fun........

Bonnie, "thingy" changed (see below)...LOL! But, not to looking, b/c I'm told that if I look, I won't find. Problem is...I'm not looking and still not finding...LOL...irony rocks . And, wow, cool story about the Model T . And, um, the Cubs and Braves cannot be in the same World Series...both are National League teams....WS is between a National and an America League team...LOL. Nice thought, tho .

Weekycat...thanks for the singing . And, will be cool to meet you, too!

Pegne, sadly, the Cubs only one 1 game today, and fell to 1.5 games out of first.... Aye.... Beat my Dad's team (the Pirates) 10-9 in game 1...and lost 10-6 in game 2.... Meanwhile, St Louis is making good on their threat (er, Matt Morris' threat) to "lay down" and _let_ Houston win, as Houston won the first of their 3-game series at Busch Stadium in St Louis tonite.... *Hopefully* the Cubs will win when I'm there tomorrow nite...and Houston will lose...but, we shall see..... The last few weeks will be interesting .

he hehe, Paul...who knows...mebbe I'll get more MCs yet . But, I'll have to wait for a RWD and V8 to buy a new one .

I asked Dusty Baker to give you two wins for your b-day but he would not cooperate. He decided to let his starters sit out game two. What the heck is that all about? In a month they will have all the rest they want. You just don't rest your starters when you are in a race for the pennant. With all the money they make they should be able to play two in a row. Why do all good managers brains turn to jelly when they come to manage the Cubs? Anyway, give the Cubbies positive vibes while you're in Pits.

I'm sorry I missed wishing you a HAPPY Birthday yesterday. So you turned 30! Wow! I remember when I turned 30. A friend of mine gave me a bottle of Kahkua, which I never tasted before, and I got sooooooooooooooo sick on it. I'm sure that didn't happen to you.

Glad to hear you went to THE CUBS game. Sorry they didn't win. They are holding their own though. We just need Houston to lose some!

LOL Pegne! Heh...Dusty Baker did apologize personally to me that they didn't win both games on my birthday . Course, he didn't talk to me after the game on Saturday (an 8-2 Cubs loss....aye). And, yes, I did attempt to give them good vibes...oh, well...they just took 'em a day late (they won today, 4-1).

As for resting the starters, he didn't answer that question either...gee...wonder why...LOL. Maybe he thought they deserved it...but, after the way they played Saturday nite, a rest might've not been the best thing to do...LOL.

Lorraine, thank you and, no worries Heh, yep, that did not happen to me.... As for the Cubs, they gained ground today....won and Houston lost...as did Florida and Philadelphia...woo hoo
