HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kristy and Marsha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kristy and Marsha

I hope you both have a Wonderful Day and many more to come.
Take Care

And a very happy birthday to KristyW, too!

Will make my husband take me out for lobster...

Tried to call my baby sister at her lake house, but she's sleeping in this a.m. She was my 6th birthday gift. My other sister is 350 days younger than me, so each year we're the same age for 15 days. My mom decided to make things easier, so we rotated sharing a cake: One year I got my own and Cathy & Nancy shared one; the next year Cathy got one and Nancy & I shared; etc.
For many years I thought it was just a cool coincidence that Nancy & I shared a birthday. Then I was told the whole story. My mom was due July 30 -- the first anniversary of my mother's father's death. Not wanting to remember July 30 with joy and grief, my mom asked the OB/GYN to induce labor on my birthday.
My sister's rather special to me, as a result.
In the mid-1970s, we had a big joint birthday party -- my roommate at the time was also a July 28 baby and had a twin, also living in Dallas. So we had a 4-way birthday party.

That's really neat!
It reminds me of my experience with my sons' birthdays. John was born on September 18. Nine years, and two more boys in between, Paul was scheduled to arrive via C-section on September 17th. I told the doctor we'd have to change the date. I wasn't going to be able to have a birthday party for John if I was recovering from a C-section. I pushed the date back until the 20th. The OB said he had never had anyone else postpone the surgery. Everyone always asks for an earlier date.
But then I do tend to do my own thing. ;)
Enjoy the day and your memories!
Mary
