Weekend to all VR members. This is my 3rd time trying to post this. Severe weather all around area...Been this way for 2 weeks. All of our fests have been moved inside to our gym and clubhouse tomorrow. Hundreds of people expected for the day. Couldn't decorate the grounds today because of heavy rain..Everyone, please have a safe weekend. We had 2 people killed last weekend on local lake from lighting Traffic is horrible around our tourist town and Atlanta...Be safe..Bonnie

I hope you and everyone is not washed out by the rains. We are getting predictions of rain on the 4h as well. Hope not, my brother is taking me to the Nascar races on the 4th and the fireworks in the evening. Have a great weekend all. And I get Monday off as well. Have a great time all.

All in all. today was not bad. Raining this morning. Stopped by 11 a.m. for people to walk to Clubhouse for bar-be-que..Grandson was able to fish on lake outside club house for 3 hours. No rain..but pool time. We had to get the kids out several times when we heard thunder. Stayed until 6 P.M. Now, sun is shining What tomorrow brings, who knows? Bonnie

Hey I'm happy, my baby is home from North Carolina for the weekend. He's in the Army at Ft. Bragg. It's so great to see him after 6 months. The weather is great here, clear but the bosque (forest) by the river is closed due to ifre danger. Hope you all have a great 4th!!!!

Happy 4th to all my VR.Com pals. Heather, have a wonderful visit with your son. I had two wonderful reunions last year with my baby bro who had been in Iraq and my sis-in-law who had been in Afghanistan. God bless our men and women in the military on this patriotic day
