I'm so thankful for so much this year. The July 4th weekend is when my mother has her annual family reunion (which is quaint...or quite small in attendence). It is held at our local Game Farm...with native wildlife and plantlife. Some of us venture out and see the bears, snakes, and whatnot. They have a new hiking trail also. I'm thankful for my mother basically...she has so far beat breast cancer (cancer free for almost 4 years), seems to be recovering from losing her two youngest (two years ago), and has been cigarette free for going 3 months, I think. I feel that she's again the happy delightful woman she was before her trouble...and without that wrenching cough.

My mother is like many of you at vr.com, a testament of fortitude and resilience.

Thank you Wise..yes, they are beautiful They spent the day with us....Swimming, having an American Birthday cake for them....Been home 3 months and they are all American kids..speaking nothing but English. Paul, your Anna is so cute..My Kameron will turn 13 the 10th... he has braces, too ... He is in Cancun for 3 weeks..I cannot wait for him to come home..We have so much fun together... He crawled in my hospital bed with me on my 2nd day post-op......I knew, I had better get up and start walking... He wasn't going to let me rest much ...Hensylee (Ann) has met him..She agreed to let him show her the Bears..but, she wimped out on the snakes.. ..Hope all , Yall, are having fun..Be careful..Bonnie
