Guess what I did?!

I'm in Washington, D.C. with my son's 8th grade field trip. We've been all over the Mall, the Capitol bldg, downtown D.C., on and off the Metro (repeatedly).

Today, I walked from the main gate of Arlington, all the way up to the "house," then across and down to the Tomb of the Unknown--in fifteen minutes! Got there in time to see the guard change!

that;s a lotta walkin. (wish I could do some of that). Congratulations! Dontcha just love Washington. First time we went there, we got a feeling unlike anything in other places - like our ancestors were all round us. so much to see.
