Great scar concealing lotion...

Oh I have been looking for good concealer for ages. Some stuff cost astronomical amounts and don't work well at all. However, the other day I found this little gem at CVS for about $10 ! It's called Cover Blend by Exuviance. It's a multi-function concealer with SPF 15. I bought it and it is really great! It blends nicely, is water proof and the 0.5 oz tube will last for ages!

note: My scars are light, however, but I still like to hide them if I go out in a sleeveless or low cute blouse.

Good for dark circles under the eyes too....

Check it! You can prob order it online, but go ask CVS, the wonder store, if they are stocking it in one near you! For $10 it's worth a try!

I's starting to have some pretty good success using Mederma. I haven't used it on my OHS scar yet, I still have a couple of stitches poking out that I cut. I'm waiting for the scabs to fall off. Yuck!!! I did, however, use Mederma on another sizable scar and have seen a difference in it's apperance or lack of apperance I should say. It's fading away.

Thank you! I really appreciate it when someone else goes on a search for me!! I don't know what CVS is, but I googled CoverBlend by Exuviance and it is available at many online shops (and Nordstrom, even).

I'm still in the "happy to show it off" mode, but I'm sure, some evening, I'll change my mind.

Great! tell me how you like it! It's really thick so you only need a teeeeny bit of it! To put it on, don't rub it on like foundation, but "dab" it on and around the area until you are satisfied with results. I also put a light dusting of foundation on it as well.

I'm glad for you folks who wear your scars like a badge of honour! That is great! My scar is my childhood one and I guess going thru my awkward teenaged years made me self conscience about it, and I've never like it to be seen. It's very light and nobody can see it, but I always think it's glearing!

CVS is a chain drug/pharmacy store in New England and New York anyway. Other places might have thier own type place. Good idea too look on the website for other places it may be found in. I always think CVS is the center of the earth..
