My daughter-in-law finally posted new pics of my grandson, thought I'd share this little cutie with you all.
Alex just turned 6 mos. old, and the only way this grandma gets to see him grow and change is via the internet.

Proud Grandma! What a sweetheart Jean. What would we do without the internet?

How is the rest of the family doing? Especially your sisters children. I think about you/them often. Not looking too good on making it out your way this summer. We have two trips planned and our friends down in TN would like us to come for another visit before school is back in. Nice shopping trip before the holidays may work though :D Molly and Kara had such a nice time as did we.....would like it if we could all get together again sometime.

The little guy is turning into the big guy fast. Pretty soon he'll be into construction equipment, fishing, and numerous other things. I know your proud and you should be. :D

Just think if the internet didn't exist. What would you do then?

Hey Grandma,
What a cutie you have. You should be very Proud! Take Care and enjoy him.
Dave

Keep your fires small!

He is a sweetie, You have a right to be proud!

I am thankful for the internet also, 7 grandkids out of state.
Take care,

Jeannie,

What a cute little boy! You must be so proud! And 6 months already?
I am also thankful for the Internet. I have two grandkids out of state, but they'll be here for me to spoil them in a little over two weeks.

Gina, too bad you can't make it to MN

Gina, too bad you can't make it to MN

but maybe we'll see you in October?? I'm not sure yet, since my daughter Jessica, whom I haven't seen since Dec. will be home on leave from the AF around that time. She will have 15 days leave, and will be coming either Sept 24th or October 1st. Hopefully, she'll find out exactly when soon, so we can make plans.

My sister's kids are all doing okay, I talked to Thomas last night, (he's 14), and he was asking when I was going to be able to come and visit again. If I could swing it financially, I'd like to go help them all get ready for school again. As much as I love being in Phoenix in Aug. it would be nice to help my brother-in-law get all those kids ready to start school again. And of course I'd get to see my grandson again too:D. We'll have to see what happens I guess. Last year my sister Kathy and I flew down, but she's due to have a baby in Sept, so I guess she won't be going. Also, my sister Connie went to help out shortly after we did, but she had baby Shelby in May, and it sounds like Shelby will be having her heart surgery in August or Sept.

Not to burst your bubble but......!!!!
Our second grandchild (Sarah Rose ) was born June 21 and she is probably the cutest and smartest kid born in North America this year !!!!!!!!!!

Ain't it great to be able to see this wonderful gift from above and to be able to enjoy it.

Congratulations Grandma !!
