Hi Ross-

I'm hoping tomorrow you have some good news about a surgery date for yourself. And I'm also hoping that it'll happen in rapid fashion, then you'll have recovery during the nice part of the summer and may even get to enjoy some of it once the initial healing is out of the way. It's so much easier to recover when the weather is nice.

So good luck tomorrow.

Thank you Nancy.

A few problems have come up on the home front that have me distressed, to say the least. I'm trying to keep them on the back burner and not worry, but the thoughts keep coming at me. I'll have to leave that in the "Something for God to do" file and get on with this. It's hard to get ready AGAIN.

I'll post the date as soon as I know. I don't know if the Cardio is going to set up with the general surgeon this time, to fix my alien or not. If so, I may or may not have an answer tomorrow.

Thanks so much, to all of you, for being here for myself and for all.

I agree,

Ross has been a inspiration to a me and has given me the ability to face what I have to do and go forward with what I thought was the unthinkable.

With all the research I have done nothing has been as informative as this site. There are several key players that always answer and always have an upbeat manner about them. Ross, in my view, is at the top of the list followed closely by Nancy, Johnny, John, Nicole and Christina, plus all the others in ?our? boat who post and cheer us on.

Ross all your friends, and I include myself in that group, are cheering and praying for you. We need you in good health to take care of the rest of us. So go get your date, get the blasted thing done and report back.

When you and I are all done with this valve stuff, lets have a drink, it may be just water, but a drink none the less. As we say in Nebraska, it?s time for the good life.

Ross, hang in there, buddy...I think you can see that you have a lot of folks in your camp pulling for you. You've been so generous with your support that when the date does happen, the group will just will you through it.

Let us know how it goes....

Dear Ross,

I'm hoping all goes well tomorrow and you finally get your date. We all know what a battle you've had and you always are here for everyone and we are all so thankful! You are an inspiration to all of us who have gone through this and the ones that are awaiting. Remember we are all here for you and will be your "cheerleaders". All the best tomorrow!!! Please let us know how everything goes.

Personally Walter, I think we should be able to tell the FAA to stick it and we take a hop in any aircraft we darn well choose, when this is all over. Wouldn't it be great? Cruise along at say 4500 to 6500 ft sipping on our waters, flying in between the clouds. I miss flying so much.

Umm Yeah, that's my dream.;)

Inspirations-I really admire Nancy. Her and her husband have been through more then most of us will ever see. I admire her writing style and only wish that I could make my keyboard sing to us the way she does. When I didn't hear anything, when Joe was in the hospital, I knew something was wrong. What can I say Nancy, we wouldn't be the same without you.

Hensylee-My forum mom in disguise, Granbonny for keeping me talking and not thinking. Jennifer O, a true friend that has much to share. Everyone plays a part and it is appreciated.

Johnny, you know exactly what I need and what I mean about the aggravations. I'll be thinking of all of you when they wheel me into the operating room, you can bet on that.

Nicole, I'm like anyone else. I can use all the cheerleading I can get. Sometimes I truly feel that I'm in a game that I'm losing badly and need that half time cheerleading to re-energize and get back in the game.

When this surgery does happen, I think I'll send you some birthday .gifs to post in the birthday threads if you have a web host to host them from.

Did you ever decide what to do about your license plates?

Thanks for your inspiration!

Good Luck, Ross!

Good Luck, Ross!

Good Luck, Ross! I am confident that you will do just fine, and as you can see, all your valve replacement friends are in your corner. I don't write a lot on line, but read usually every couple of days, so I still feel like I know everyone an understand their own unique stories. I know you will keep everyone posted on your progress and date. May the Peace of the Lord be with you!Susan:)

Tenatively, July 22nd. Not official just yet!
I'm waiting for a call from the Alien Surgeons office to see if this date is acceptable. One gets to fix my heart, the other gets to repair my alien when the heart surgeon is done. I'm getting double teamed.

Hi Nancy

I hope so too, but the last time he fixed it, it only lasted about a month then it popped right back out. I asked him about using screen this time and he said the problem with that is, he didn't know where to start and where to stop, since my tissues are so bad. I guess we'll see huh?
