I remember the story of a kindergarten child who had trouble with her shoes. The teacher said, "Betsylou, you have your shoes on the wrong feet." Betsylou responded, "They is the only feet I got."

Then, there's also the one where the teacher asks the student, " When did Columbus discover America?" The student replied, "Before he died." Was the student being a smart Alec? Technically speaking, his answer was correct. Columbus did, in deed, discover America before he died....if he discovered America at all......

Yeah, those are funny! If I were their teacher, I wouldn't be impressed, but I would secretly chuckle.

That was my daughter with the wrong feet problem, Blanche, but her name is Teresa. She used to tell us she was assminded because I wrote a note to her teacher and told her teacher that Teresa needed to be reminded of some things because she was absentminded. Then she told us she was just a 'poor little body'.

However she was in the Honor Society. So was the other daughter. Then son, Chuck, comes along 12 years behind them; the same teachers are still there and they want to know 'what in the world went wrong since your sisters went to school here?'.

I love them Ross...there are alot of them in our local media here at present as they are being used in an advertising campaign..."find X' is one of my faves!...its also the smart ass sort of stuff my 16yr old would come up with...LOL...
