At first I thought this was a joke and a very well-made home video.
It used to be sometimes a song would stay stuck in your head; today I had this video stuck in my head after seeing it last night. I had a vision of hundreds of people on these at airports like JFK, O'Hare, CDG or LAX, and I wondered if they'd bump into each other and cause accidents or maybe there are sensors to prevent that? Seems like it could bring traffic congestion and gridlock to the indoors, or maybe that's just my sunny disposition.
I'd like to see a really pregnant lady on it and some 80-year-olds. Yeah, the 20-somethings are great for the image, but they're the least likely ones to need it. Those girls would not be staying so svelte with that method of personal mobility. I wonder if we'll evolve in a few hundred-thousand years to have wheels on the bottoms of our feet?
And the people who wrote the ad copy, "personal mobility in harmony with humanity," were they passing the bong around when they came up with that line?
On a serious note, seems that those who would have the most need for this, para- and quadriplegics, wouldn't be able to use it and it would be nice if this leads to something more streamlined for them.
