Got to meet Kandice!!!

Hey everyone.

Almost forgot this. When I went in for my pre-op, I was able to go by and meet Kandice and her family. Really nice people.

It was Thursday, so that was day 3 for her. She was a little tired, but seeing what she just went through, I think I would probably be looking worse.

I get the feeling she may be out on Saturday. I may try and check back in with her husband tomorrow to see if she has.

Her plan is to stay in Nashville until the 20th. Which means, she may try and drop by and see me during my recovery. Maybe I can even get her to post an update on me.

Anyway, I told her that everybody on the board was thinking about her, and wanted to hear from her once she was able to post.

Hope she can do that soon. If I hear anything more on her, I'll post it before my surgery Monday morning.

Glad to hear Kandice is doing well. It's really cool that because of vr.com you are able to lend moral support to each other. Thanks for letting us know.

Jeff, it's always a thrill to meet a fellow VR member but to meet them IN the hospital is a bonus. You can see what you will be going through. Thanks for letting us know that she is doing well. Hope she will post for you and that you do very well in your surgery.

Your meeting with Kandice really is awesome!
It's amazing what a quick bond we form with others who have gone through this.
