I had my ablation yesterday. Only took the doc 1 hour. He said he found it right away.( some extra electric system, I was born with) He only had to go in the right side. I do not have to take any more tenormin. First time in 30 years! The only thing I am having today is I feel real shakey. Probably from meds. (the meds they gave me) I feel pretty good and really glad that it's over. Wasn't near as bad as I thought.

Deb....wonderful news!!!....I hope yours works as well as mine did.....two and a half years no fib or flutter :D

I'm glad it went so well! Now pamper yourself for a couple of days!

Deb,

Happy to hear your news as I am heading for an ablation myself in the near future. Not real happy with the thought so any good experiences are very helpful.

Hope the shakiness goes away quickly.

Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts;) Gina....I felt no pain and no pain after. The only part that really bothered me was I had to lay flat for 4 hours. I was real lucky they found mine right away too. The EP said it could take 3 1/2 hours. I got lucky. It's alot better than the pocedure sounds. I think a few pople on here have had it and can reassure you too. Aaron...........I hope you get to dump that tenormin too! Deb
