Curtsmum

I wrote a letter to Curtis Dr, asking why one said Curts condition was urgent and then another didn't feel that there was any rush. He said Curtis has moderate narrowing of the mitral valve and when he was seen in november the Dr could not be sure of the pressures in the lungs. After he has the cardiac cath hey will discuss his case with the surgeons. He also said that he is not at any risk of sudden deterioration, i think the doctor just made a mistake telling us it needed dealing with, iam not that worried at the moment. We are planning a trip to Disneyland but as it is not advissable for Curtis to fly it will have to be Paris. Have a great Christmas everyone, i will be now Paula x

I think I might have actually heard your sigh of relief. Good news!

Excellent news Paula...

Sounds as if they have Curtis's condition well under control and its a nervous Mum who just needs calming...big hugs...its awful when its the kids, I am so grateful mine havent had any worries yet...

Yes it is a big relief and i'am through with being stressed out. Not sure when to go to Disney land yet, i think we may need to get the cath out of the way first, end of january, then as soon as we can, maybe easter would be a good time, thanks for the replys Paula x

I'm glad your holiday plans are surgery free. From this side of the pond a trip to Paris sure seems a lot more exciting than Disneyworld. All a matter of perspective.:) Take care and have a Merry Christmas!
