I was released from the hospital on Monday, surgery went well, they did find an aneurysm on my aortic root, and repaired it. Now just walking and taking it easy for the next few weeks and listening to my dog bark, the kids fight and my wife yelling at them all to be quite (its good to be home!). I will say that if anybody in the NYC area and needs surgery, check NYP-Cornell. The care and compasion were above anything that I could have imagined.

Ah, Home Sweet Home. Glad to know you came through the surgery and now can get some rest and heal that heart. You were strong enough to go through the surgery, now sit back reap the rewards (yea even the barking dog) :D

Welcome home Nick! I hope you continue to do well in your recovery and please don't try to do too much too soon! Take things slow; you'll start getting your energy back all in good time! :)

Welcome home, Nick- enjoy all the TLC and the normal sounds of an active and happy household.

Nick, CONGRATULATIONS and welcome home.

All the best for a speedy recovery. Take it easy and smell the roses (or pine nuts)!
