Hi,
I was seen through the ER and admitted over the weekend at Northwestern in Chicago. They did echo, angio, cath, ct of my aorta. Everything down to my dental X-rays. They sent me home saturday and told me to call Dr. McCarthy early Monday and request soonest possible appointment. I have an aortic aneurysm I:confused2: believe measuring 3.9 which I believe 4 is the point at which they address these. My stenosis and regurge are both at severe. Anyway- I've called Dr. McCarthy's office 4 times yesterday and didn't get a call back. When they called back today they said he's out of the office for a week ++! I know the cardiologist that released me figured I'd be right back in but now that McCarthy is gone I'm thinking of getting my records and heading over to UofC.... Does anyone know who their best valve guy is? I really don't feel like putting this off for a week. Im having some bad chest pain-pretty much the same I had in the hospital and I just have a very bad feeling about having to wait an entire week.
