Had my stress echo today and my cardiologist was the one in the room with me! Yippee - since he gave me all the answers while I was in there. He said that the Mitral Valve has not gotten any better, but it has not gotten any worse either. So good news! He wants to repeat again in 6 months to recheck. He thinks that maybe it has not been enough time since my OHS in May 2008 and that my heart is still healing and getting back to normal and that things will get better if I just wait and stop obessing over everything. I am not sure that will happen, since the PAC's and PVC's are still there, but I am going to do my best. At least we know that I will not be facing OHS anytime in the near future!

Thanks all for your good wishes and all the information!!!! diana

That is exactly what I thought when I saw that my cardio was the one doing the test today. The last time it was another one. They rotate at the hospital I go to and it just happened to be his day. I was so excited since it meant I didn't have to wait for the results. He was very happy with what he saw, except he was hoping that the mitral had gotten better instead of staying the same.

On a side note, I self tested tonight and it was 2.9. Yippee - way better than the 2.0 from 2 weeks ago. Thanks all for your good wishes and prayers..it seems that they worked!!
