I had my post op Echo today. The preliminary results are awesome. My pulmonary pressure before surgery was 120 mmHg. When I was in the hospital the Cardio and Surgeon were hoping for my level to drop to around 70 with mid 60s being fantastic. So high normal is in the 20's mmHg. The big reveal is................. My pressure is mid 40s very low 50s. I know it was just the tech and an echo but even if there was a 20% difference I'm still in fantastic shape. And my heart compared to the last echo in September 08 is starting to shrink.
Now the bad news. My vacation is over. After 3 months off I start work and the baby starts daycare in the morning. And I work at a General Motors Dealership as a mechanic. In this economy.
