My warfarin manager responded to all my e-mails requesting help--unfortunately I never received them and when I inquired is there a problem she replied by phone.
So spouse's warfarin dose has been adjusted. PCP and my manager's instructions were exactly the same. So spouse and PCP have decided between themselves that between the 3 of us and my XS we'll do just fine.
Our PCP has come full circle with home monitoring from only in conjunction with a vein draw to suggesting I do the dosing adjustment because he feels I know enough with his ito do it. Meanwhile I'm having difficulty getting my head around that.
I'm wondering if it's wise for two patients to use the same monitor? It makes sense.
