Best wishes for everyone having surgery this week.

BTW, got a phone call this a.m. about a mutual friend in Colorado who should be going into the OR as I write this. I had seen him in Denver CO in late September. He asked about my heart surgery 3MO before and said he had AVP and would need surgery "sooner or later." Advised him to get it sooner rather than later.
Last month, plans called for surgery at CCF. But when he had a heart cath 11/3 in Boulder CO, doctors wouldn't let him leave and scheduled surgery for today. Double bypass, at least, and AVR.
I talked to him today and assured him soon be on the other side of the mountain. He said he'd get a St. Jude AV; I told him he might wake up in recovery or ICU hearing his new Timex <VBG>. Also said that Coumadin is no big thing.
I have his wife's cell #, home # and e-mail addy. Will let her know about vr.com.
