I had my 2.5 month post op visit today with my cardio. Everything looks great! I can go off of the coumadin now and don't need to go back for 6 months. He was very pleased with how everything looks and confided in me that he was very scared for me when he sent me off for surgery. He said a lot of people with Ebstein's don't do well and he is just so glad that it turned out good for me. I told him I wish I had done it years ago...I didn't realized how badly I really felt. He then shared a story with me about another one of his patients who has EA whom, along with her family, has been in such denial about her needing surgery that she is now dying with no hope of saving her. Her heart is as big as a basketball and he expects her to not be here much longer. So, to those of you who put it off, please keep this in mind.

What good news. Happy to hear how well you are doing.

Thank you for sharing with us and particularly for sharing what your cardio told you about the outcome of denial and refusing the surgery.

Keep doing well.

That's gret news, Kim. Best wishes for many happy, healthy years!

Its great to hear things are going well for you! Glad the infection is over and you feel better than ever! I cant wait to feel better than I did pre-op, which is what I am expecting eventually!

that point myself. Best Wishes-Dina
