I know Phyliss's hubby, Dick plays golf...but, never noticed anyone else posting after OHS. I went with my Hubby and age 14 year old Grandson for a round today..I had my own cart..didn't play..but did help with the flag, lost balls, ect...Beautiful day, not too hot.....Many elderly men/women playing..We live in a Retirement area. many pushing their golf bags..Not riding....:D They looked in great shape..I'm talking 70's/80's....Grandson beat his Papa on the 17th hole..Long drive..almost to the green.:D Just thought how interesting to see these people playing at their age..and never slowing down...to let us by...:p They finished and moved on.:D Bonnie

That sounded like a lot of fun for ya. You didn't see any bears out there did ya?:)

Yes, many Seniors and many playing after surgeries when Dick is in FL. He (73) plays with fellows in their 80's one of whom had a kidney removed and played last winter a few months after surgery. Dick hates the fact that he has to use a cart in FL- would much prefer to walk the course, but then he also gets his exercise with tennis every morning and usually plays golf once a week and hits about 4 buckets of balls at the range every afternoon. Sounds like you had a good time, Bonnie- it's always fun to watch your children or grandchildren beat you husband!;)
