Got confirmation at my pre-admission clinic on Thursday, I've been bumped to first case on Wednesday the 17th. 3 more days, wow that went fast. The good news about being first case is there is less chance of getting postponed. The bad news is I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am. Ugh.

We're still hoping to do the Ross Procedure but we won't know for sure until we get in and take some measurements. If the aortic annulus is too large for the PV then I am just getting a straight AV/root replacement, mechanical. I'm really really hoping for the Ross to avoid the coumadin, but as long as I wake up I don't really care. Heh.

Anyway, I see I am in a busy week here so good luck to everyone else going this week, and keep me in your thoughts as well.

Cheers.

Rob

Good luck.

Good luck.

When we have the moment of silence before our school day begins, I will be thinking of you.Let us know about the view on this side of the mountain.:)

Goodness, Rob, didn't give you a whole lot of time to worry about this.

Best of luck on Wednesday; sure hope you'll be eligible for the Ross.

I'll be thinking about you Wednesday. You're in my prayers.

Sending you best wishes for Wed., Rob and we look forward to a report that all went well. First case is always good- catch the surgeon when he's fresh!:)

Rob,
Hope you have one of those boring surgeries we've been hearing about.;)
Godspeed.

Hey Rob,
I'm going in for my one year post-surgery appointment on the 17th, so I'll keep you in my thoughts.
It's always good to be the first one in, and I'm sure you will do fine.
Godspeed,
Mary

Best of luck, Rob. You'll be in my thoughts. These springtime surgeries are the best!! You get to come home and recover with the warm and lucious renewing earth all around you. Keep the beauty in mind and have a good journey!!

Added you to the calendar, Rob. Hope you can have someone post for you. Godspeed!

Rob -- I did the Wednesday morning -- 5:30 AM thing also. Weird, as you are getting there just when the skeleton crew arrives -- they haven't even had their coffee yet!

But -- since we have this in common - let's go all the way and make yours just as boring as mine was. I'll hold you to it!
