Got confirmation at my pre-admission clinic on Thursday, I've been bumped to first case on Wednesday the 17th. 3 more days, wow that went fast. The good news about being first case is there is less chance of getting postponed. The bad news is I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am. Ugh.
We're still hoping to do the Ross Procedure but we won't know for sure until we get in and take some measurements. If the aortic annulus is too large for the PV then I am just getting a straight AV/root replacement, mechanical. I'm really really hoping for the Ross to avoid the coumadin, but as long as I wake up I don't really care. Heh.
Anyway, I see I am in a busy week here so good luck to everyone else going this week, and keep me in your thoughts as well.
Cheers.
