Hello everyone:
Just a note to say how glad I am to have found this site. I will be having an AVR with a triple bypass hopefully in the next few weeks. I have been researching every heart valve known to man and the information and encouragement I see you all sharing has been a tremendous boost for me. I have been reading as a guest for awhile but decided to join. I did not realize
the number of people in the world with similar afflictions or how much can be done in the medical field to help.
I have just read a post about a little girl named Mollie and I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes and prayers in my heart for her.

Welcome to this wonderful community of caring people. We are so glad to have you. I'm sure with an excellent attitude such as yours you will be a great addition to this site. Please feel free to start as many threads with as many questions as you like. There is always someone around to help out or lend a friendly exchange.

Good luck in the next few weeks. It is said that waiting can be the hardest part! I'm still waiting, but will soon have a date for AVR. It will be interesting to watch you progress through your surgery.
