Thanks for the info.

Always 'assumed' ginsing raised an INR. Maybe I am thinking of something else?

In any case, makes me rethink the 'flaxseed'. Herbs can be a scary when combining them with Warfarin! Not going to take the 2 week re-check recommendation. Testing on Friday!

Exercise alone may be enough to lower LDL!

This afternoon I accidently took more L-Carnitine than I had been taking - I don't see many sites mentioning any interaction with coumadin so I'm praying all will be OK by Friday's test.

L-carnatine is an amino acid. They are metabolized by a completely different pathway, so it should have no effect.

Been told from the beginning that Ginseng is a NO NO when taking Coumadin, so I have not included that one on my list of many supplements.

I have been quite curious about supplements, herbs, etc. since their gain in popularity. Due to my conservative nature, I chose not to imbibe in anything I couldn't pronounce OR spell. It amazes me that some of this stuff is marketed without sufficient info, research, data, etc. You would think they would fall under the same strict guidelines as the FDA for prescription and OTC drugs. But they don't.
