Every morning from my rocker on the front porch, this is what I see. Such peace. It's very foggy today and when I downloaded the picture, there are little rings in the picture - they must be drops of dew falling. Didn't know you could catch that on a camera!

I'd love to be back in that type of setting. It once was like that around here, but no longer. Housing has popped up everywhere and ruined the feel of nature. :(

I love the picture. It sure is wonderful to live amongst nature. The builders who started our neighborhood many years ago decided to build without clearing the land, and left most of the old growth trees there, so it's very wooded. I love it, and every spring there are a few woodland plant "surprises" that come up from the peaty type forest soil, like trillium, trout lillies, wild irises, sedges and reed plants. Right now, we have a huge bed of pink lily-of-the-valley, and a huge bed of white lily-of-the-valley that are getting ready to pop. They are in the shady areas. Everybody's lawn has purple and white violets blooming between the grass blades.

Pretty close to paradise.

Thanks for sharing the moment, Hensylee.

absolutely beautiful!

absolutely beautiful!

Dear Ann,

I can imagine the sounds of the woods just looking at your picture! Thanks for sharing. God Bless you. .......Betty

Question: my brother tells me dew doesn't fall - it rises! Is that true. He's pretty knowledgable and much smarter and educated than me, but I don't know about this. Is he right?

Ann,

You picture is AWESOME! What a gorgeous view! I too can imagine hearing all the critters scampering around. What a BEAUTIFUL setting you live in.

Thank you very much for sharing! I knew your view would be just beautiful! It's soo

Ann, it is true that the dew rises. I'm not an expert, but I believe it is a part of fog formation.
Once again, good luck to you tomorrow. Tim
