Brits talk funny, esp when using constructions like "lame ass" --- oops, did I just violate forum etiquette? :D

Okay, we Southern rednecks talk funny, too. :D

For a country that gave The Simpsons to a grateful world, I find the American irony bypass puzzling. Could the use of a geeky, nerdy, good old USA type put down term, like "lame ass", delivered in an English accent on the subject of forum etiquette, perhaps be ironic? :D :D
