HI, I have a question is it possible for coumadin to disrupt or stop womans menstral period the reason I ask is becasue i just turn 50 and i realize I'm at the age where this sort of thing happens to women. my periods have been regualar up until my dosage of coumadin was changed from 3 mig. each day to 1 1/2 = I didn't have a period in jan. no new in feb either plz let me know thank you take care all chris

It probably has more to do with your age than the warfarin. Let your doctor know next time you have an appointment. I'm assuming that you are 100% sure that you are not pregnant. If that is a possibility, you need to contact the doctor tomorrow.

I can sure your concern....have had all sorts of funky stuff going on in that dept since starting Coumadin. Have asked my doctors, searched the net and nothing.

35 and started an early peri-menopause last year. It is not common in my family. The only thing we can think of is that surgery (2 twice in three weeks) shocked my system.

Hope they can get a handle on it for you.

Keep us posted.
