Foot Pain after Cath anyone?

My 90 minute Cath procedure was Wednesday night - last night (about 48 hours later) I developed a pain in my right foot - it feels muscular down the right side (last 2 toes) of my right foot. I am thinking I overcompensated for the groin area and injured my foot. Everything else seems really good - no major bruising, swelling at the site, no fever etc.

Anyone else have foot pain after the cath procedure?

I'm due for one in 2 weeks or so... I think thats a normal side effect. Im not sure though have to domore research.

I think you should contact your Doctor about that. It may be a blood clot. It's not normal that I know of to experience that pain.

after cath, they put a plug in my groin. I left the hospital w/written instructions on what to be careful about and who to call if I had questions. If you have the plug, it eventually dissolves. If you didn't have the plug, you had the weight and they make you be very still for an hour or so. In any case, there's always a slight danger. I am with the others that you should call your doctor - don't wait. Might be nothing - might be something. Take no unnecessary chances that it's nothing.

Just in case you all read back here again - the thought right now is nerve damage to my right leg (read 90 minutes and 12 wires!) and I am on bed rest and ibuprofen hoping it is a temporary swelling -
