It went well. I was told only to followup with the cardiologist from this point. Tomorrow marks 4 weeks since my AVR.

No more binder, I can return to work light duties next week. So no more watching Sportscenter, Law & Order, or Sabrina the Teenage Witch continuously.

Good to know you are getting there slowing. Just take your time though. I went back to work after AVR at 8 weeks and it seemed too soon. Wasn't able to work part-time so I was really pooped for the first couple of weeks.

Should have made myself clear

1- My job consists entirely of writing on current events. National and Florida, South Florida in particular. It could be a post about the Presidential campaign or the latest Miami Dolphin news.

and

2- I can do this job from home. On light duties, I can set my times and rest when tired. My boss is telling me not to push myself too hard. I won't, I'm writing some on the internet now and doing ok. May as well get paid for the work.

Well, william, Good report for follow -up
wishing you the best in the rest of your recovery.

That's great you can work from home. I went to work after 8 weeks and I would come home and have to take a 1-2 hour nap and go to bed at 9p. To many meds for me too. Hope you have continued progress.

Congrats on the all clear! I got mine from my surgeon today, 5 weeks out from my TVR and PM implant. I can go back to work as well, I fix computers so not a lot of heavy lifting anyhow and I have been working from home since the first 3 weeks post op. Doing good only issue I have is getting used to the pacemaker.

good stuff! It is nice to get back to work. I was actually working from home, in PJS and housecoat, and between naps, the day after I was released from hospital - but then, I have never been normal :D

I think I will miss the afternoon naps too once I get back to work...lol ;)
