Much better. Lotsa rain, but no dangerous flooding right here so far. There might be, down by the Raritan river, such as in Bound Brook. We're on a bit of a high spot, so we missed being flooded by Floyd by about a quarter of a mile. It's still raining giraffes and elephants outside, but I'm in the cellar in stocking feet, so it must not be wet here yet.

Interestingly, we had a deluge earlier, for a good fifteen minutes, with the sun shining extremely brightly all through it. I know. I was out in it, trying to get to my car. I was lured out by the bright sunlight. No rainbow, though. A little scary, in biblical terms...

Maryland got it bad yesterday. Awful pictures of houses in foot-high water.

Glad you both are o.k...Bob, thought you were going to say you were in basement building an Ark.. :D That was our weather week before last..for 2 weeks...Rain came from nowhere. Sun would be shining and then poof...the sky would open up. this week..very hot during the day and then around 4 p.m. Thunderstorms..rain hard and quit....Take care. Bonnie
