Today (12-15-2005) is the fifth anniversary of my AVR. My sincere thanks to all of you who have been so kind & supportive over the years.

My AVR was a blessing in that it helped me to reprioritize many things in my life. Health issues aside, I think that it has helped to make me a better person, at least I hope so.

Never take anything for granted and be thankful for every day.

God bless you all,

Mark

And you and I share AVR done at the same hospital. All the best to you, I read your posts and know how well you have done, you are a great example to people on this forum!!! Rose

Congratulations on your fifth anniversary, Mark.

congratulations, Mark. I remember it well. Doesn't seem like 5 yrs, tho.

And yes, most of us agree heart surgery makes us better people and move appreciative of who we are, what we are and do. Softer, gentler.

Congratulations,Mark. It's amazing how heart surgery makes us all appreciate life more!:)
