Hi all, it was on the news last night!! The first dog to receive a kidney transplant in Brazil received the organ from her mother; and she's a doxie just like my Milady. Her owner was delighted since it was her last hope of saving the "baby" as she herself put it. She also said she had to travel half way round the country for that, but it was well worth it! Cacau, a female dog, is doing great and should be able to fly home tomorrow!
